Amidst their divorce rumours, Aishwarya attended the Global Women’s Forum in Dubai on Wednesday, delivering a poignant speech on women’s empowerment. Notably, a large screen behind her introduced her as ‘Aishwarya Rai | International Star,’ excluding the ‘Bachchan’ surname, which has sparked discussions across social media, with numerous videos and photos emerging from the event.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s appearance at the 2024 Global Women’s Forum in Dubai drew significant attention. Her speech on women’s empowerment resonated with attendees. Her striking blue dress, embroidered jacket, and a new side-parted hairstyle stole the show. However, many fans noted the omission of Bachchan from her displayed name fueling divorce speculations. Netizens also noticed the sudden weight loss of the actress.

In an interview with The Hindu, Abhishek Bachchan expressed gratitude towards Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for her dedication to their daughter, Aaradhya. He reminisced about how Aishwarya stepped back from her acting career to focus on raising their children, paralleling his own mother’s choices when he was born. “My mother ceased acting to spend time with us. We never felt the absence of Dad. You come home,” he shared.

When director Shoojit Sircar spoke about Jaya Bachchan’s sacrifices for her family, Abhishek reflected on his own circumstances, particularly highlighting Aishwarya’s role. He remarked, “I’m fortunate to create films, but Aishwarya is at home with Aaradhya. And I am incredibly thankful for that. However, children don’t perceive it that way; they see you as their primary presence.”

The rumours regarding the potential divorce of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been gaining momentum. It’s been reported since they attended a prominent wedding separately in July.
